Lion (2016)
“Man’s biggest fear has risen again”
Italian director Davide Melini, some of his work I have covered HERE who is also working on another short details can be found HERE, is currently putting the final touches on his latest short Lion.
The synopsis is as follows
“An isolated chalet in a snowy forest… A man blinded by alcohol… A woman unable to rebel… And an 8-year-old child troubled and dark… The silent night is broken with cries… the start of a terrible nightmare!”
Starring Pedro Sánchez, Michael Segal and Tania Mercader, the resume for the producers and crew for Lion is especially impressive having worked on such projects as Thor, Harry Potter, Apocalypto, Titanic, Moulin Rouge, The Passion of Christ, The Dark Knight Rises, Game of Thrones, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, Quantum of Solace, Gangs of New York and Hannibal Rising.
Davide himself has been busy too working on the latest series of the wonderful Penny Dreadful (I am a big fan of that show).
